Knights of the Round Table

Knights of the Round Table were men of the highest order at the Court of King Arthur during the early 6th century. The table was round without a head or foot, which represented the equality of all the members. Each knight was of equal value to King Arthur, although they understood that King Arthur was first among equals. But now the 6th century lives on.

With educational toys like the Castle Figures, children have the opportunity to relive the days of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. These hand carves wooden figures of a King, Queen, Prince, Princess, Wizard, Jester, 4 Knights and 2 horses make pretend play both educational and fun.

No Matter How They Toss the Dice

"No Matter How They Toss the Dice" are lyrics from a 60's song entitled "Happy Together". It is also and expression of chance as in "Oh well " or a more recent expression, "Whatever". But tossing dice also involves such things as calculus, analytic geometry and statistical sciences. Although these areas of mathematics and science my be a bit too much for the average person, your child can begin exploring logic and probability as young as 3 years of age.

Educational toys like the Rocking Moon Game teaches logic, balance and strategy. Children toss the dice to begin selecting the corresponding colored wooden cylinder block. But be careful not to rock the moon and cause the blocks to come tumbling down! This ever changing game makes for long lasting, learning fun.
